THE DEMAND

Your clients keep asking for planting up the wall, and you hand the job over

A client wants a courtyard wall greened, or a shop front, or an office partition. Floor space is counted, so it has to go vertical. You know how to plant and you know how to water, but you do not know how to size the tank, which pump to fit, or why some installations are still thriving after ten years while others dry out in two seasons.

So you refer the client on, or you subcontract, and the margin leaves with him. Meanwhile a competitor who took the time to learn the technique is invoicing the design, the installation and a yearly maintenance contract on that same job.

THE RIGHT FRAME

A vertical ecosystem, not wall decoration

A green wall is a vertical ecosystem that covers a facade or a partition, and that rises parallel to the wall of the building. Two words in that definition matter, and they change the way you sell.

Ecosystem, because it is alive and it has to be looked after: you are not selling an object, you are selling an installation plus a follow up. Parallel, because an air gap always separates the green wall from the structural wall, and that gap is what protects the building. A client who hears you explain the air gap works out within three sentences that he is talking to someone who knows the job.

THE METHOD

Bare root hydroponics on horticultural felt

Three technical families share this market: hydroponics on horticultural felt, Chilean sphagnum moss, and pre-grown modular cassettes. The mini course explains all three, and why we work on felt.

Three reasons, and the first one settles it:

  • You control the water, its composition, its pH and its electrical conductivity. A substrate compacts, dries out in one place and drowns the roots in another, and there is nothing you can do about it from the outside.

  • You repair without dismantling. A spent plant is swapped inside its own pocket, in a few minutes, without touching the rest of the wall.

  • You depend on nobody. You size the system yourself, with parts sold everywhere, with no patent and no single supplier holding your prices.

That is your margin, and that is your freedom.

THE CONTENT

The nine lessons

Each lesson runs a few minutes and covers one subject in full, from the principle to the figures worth writing down.

  1. What a green wall actually is, and the definition to repeat in front of a client.

  2. The layers of a wall, from back to front, with the air gap and the waterproofing.

  3. The hydroponic principle, and the four systems used in the trade.

  4. Light, how to measure it and how to choose a colour temperature.

  5. Choosing indoor plants, planting density per square metre and visual harmony.

  6. Air purifying plants, what they genuinely do and what is wrongly claimed for them.

  7. The outdoor wall, sun, wind, frost and the seasons.

  8. Electrical conductivity and pH, the two figures that decide how long a wall lives.

  9. Maintenance, diseases, insects and the annual contract.

WHAT YOU GET

For 47 €, the whole thing condensed

  • The narrated video, around twenty five minutes, the slides and the voice.

  • The complete handout as a PDF, to read and annotate.

  • The PowerPoint file, so you can reuse the diagrams to explain the principle to a client.

  • The full scripts, lesson by lesson.

Immediate download once you have paid. It is yours, with no time limit and nothing to renew.

FOR WHOM

✅ This is for you if

  • You are a working landscaper and you want to add a service very few of your competitors can deliver.

  • You are changing career and you want to see what this trade really involves before committing to it.

  • You have already tried a green wall and it aged badly, without you ever knowing why.

❌ This is not for you if

  • You want the sized calculations for your first job, the supplier references and the quotation templates.

  • You intend to install a wall next week: here you understand the method, in the full training you execute it.

  • You are after an official qualification: AQUAPHUTON issues a certificate of course attendance, not a state diploma.

YOUR QUESTIONS

Before you buy

Why pay 47 € when there are free videos everywhere?

Free videos show you the finished result. They give you neither the planting densities, nor the pH and conductivity ranges, nor the reason why nothing insulating ever goes into the air gap. That is precisely what separates a wall that lasts from a wall that gets replaced.

Is this not just an advert for the full training?

No, and the line between them is clear. Here you understand: the method, the vocabulary, the orders of magnitude. In the full training you execute: the sized calculations, the suppliers, the client questionnaire, the quotation template and the maintenance contract. Both have their place, and this one stands on its own if all you want is to know.

Does the method hold up in my climate?

The indoor part holds everywhere, since you are the one creating the climate. For outdoors, the mini course gives you the criteria to check: exposure, wind, frost, seasons. Fine adaptations to one particular region are handled in the full training.

Will I be able to build a wall after watching it?

You will be able to judge a project, talk about it accurately and avoid the mistakes that kill a wall. Building your first one with confidence means sizing it, and sizing is taught in the full training.

How long does it take to get through?

Allow half an hour for the video, and about an hour if you read the handout and take notes as you go.

And if I want to go further afterwards?

The complete professional training is available online with lifetime access, and a hands on day is held regularly, where we build a real wall together. You will choose with your eyes open.

GETTING STARTED

Half an hour to decide

You will know whether this trade is worth your time, and you will know how to talk about it properly to your next client. For 47 €, that is the price of one round trip to a job you would not have been able to quote.
